Haines - Month One

It is hard to believe a month+ has already passed since our sweet Haines arrived.  And so sweet he is!  He is a great nurser and I don't have too many sleeping complaints either. He usually takes 3ish naps a day. He goes to bed around 8 and usually goes for a 5-6 hour stretch. Last night he slept from 8:30-6 waking only once at 2 to eat.  The two nights before were a little rough with him waking every 3 hours - and yesterday he was off, too - so I am thinking he might be in a growth spurt.  He naps and sleeps in the rock n play in our room for now. He has a bad case of baby acne all over his face and chest. We are working our hardest to clear up some diaper rash, but thankfully it doesn't seem to bother him. He also has a pretty gnarly looking umbilical hernia!  He loves to be held and usually does pretty good in the car.  He gets about 100 kisses from Charlie Banks a day, but will also be pretty tough from the tough love CB throws his way as well. I can't sit him down if CB is around for fear of what will happen.  They will be so fun to watch grow together. He loves to be swaddled and loves the moby, too! He doesn't appear to be that spitty...and after having the spittiest baby who ever lived in CB... that's a huge relief ha!   He is so stinkin precious and I feel so blessed that he is ours.  I can't imagine our little life without him!
