We had such a fun Easter “season”! We saw the Easter Bunny several times at the mall as well as at our neighborhood egg hunt. Haines was not afraid this year. The boys hunted eggs at the neighborhood party, at their school parties, at our church hunt and of course at home on Easter morning! Charlie Banks is slow, because he likes to assess each eggs contents as he finds them. The eggs at our neighborhood hunt were empty and you turned them in for candy at the end. Once he found his first egg and opened it he said, “there’s just one problem...there’s nothing in them!” Charlie Banks was also not thrilled with the $1 in the golden egg he found Easter morning. He put it back and said that he didn’t like that “old junk of money”. Jimmy was happy to take his dollar back. Ha! Haines tended to be on a mission with a much faster pace, because he loves the candy!!! Easter Sunday we enjoyed church and I cooked a traditional Easter lunch afterwards.
