We had such a fun Easter “season”! We saw the Easter Bunny several times at the mall as well as at our neighborhood egg hunt. Haines was not afraid this year. The boys hunted eggs at the neighborhood party, at their school parties, at our church hunt and of course at home on Easter morning! Charlie Banks is slow, because he likes to assess each eggs contents as he finds them. The eggs at our neighborhood hunt were empty and you turned them in for candy at the end. Once he found his first egg and opened it he said, “there’s just one problem...there’s nothing in them!” Charlie Banks was also not thrilled with the $1 in the golden egg he found Easter morning. He put it back and said that he didn’t like that “old junk of money”. Jimmy was happy to take his dollar back. Ha! Haines tended to be on a mission with a much faster pace, because he loves the candy!!! Easter Sunday we enjoyed church and I cooked a traditional Easter lunch afterwards.

Lately
We have had a busy few months with visitors, speech therapy, tball, house stuff, etc. We have been lucky to have visits from Leazy, Brooke, Buchanan, Jordan, Hunter, Grayson, NanJan, Auntie Brooke, Hudson, Harper and Hadleigh! We loved having our spring break visitors! We have stayed busy taking our visitors to the aquarium, trolley rides to Ybor, Bern’s, Sparkman Wharf, Armature Works, Julian B Lake park, Hyde Park Village, etc. We have stayed busy around the house moving the boys into a shared room, getting the nursery ready, finally getting the bathroom in detached garage mostly completed (just in time for our last round of visitors), new stair runner, etc etc etc. The boys shared room turned out sweet and overall has been going pretty well. Haines is really enjoying his new bedtime freedom and therefore we have to take a few visits upstairs to put him back in his bed. He seems to be getting much better though and both boys really seem to like being together. Tball has been fun and busy with practice every Wednesday and games every Saturday. Charlie Banks is really enjoying it and has improved a lot as the season has progressed, which is fun to watch. We have been enjoying the church we have been attending and the boys performed for Palm Sunday which was special. Some sweet Tampa friends threw me a sprinkle for baby Kingslea. We got some really cute girl things which was fun! Speech therapy is twice a week for Haines and we are starting to see some improvement on that front. We really love our speech therapist and he does, too! Easter festivities have been a plenty, but I’ll save those for another post!
