We had such a fun Halloween week! Saturday I took the boys to the aquarium for “Guppyween”. The boys loved finding all of the pumpkins in the tanks and we even watched a turtle eating one of the pumpkins, which they thought was a hoot! Sunday afternoon our neighborhood had a Fall Fest with popcorn and jump castles. We had gorgeous weather, met a few new neighbors and the boys jumped themselves silly! Monday afternoon we went to Busch Gardens with some friends. I was thinking they would have a few more Halloween decorations out, but we still had a great time. The boys love the rides and the animals! We have gotten great use of our aquarium and Busch gardens memberships this year! Tuesday morning we went to a Halloween play date at Curtis Hixon park. It was sponsored by Beechnut, so we planted seeds in baby food jars, made ghost crafts, decorated cookies, and played of course. That afternoon we went trick or treating at a nursing/rehabilitation center. It was sweet and hopefully cheered the residents up. Wednesday morning was filled with school parties in both boys classes! That afternoon we ordered pizza and then hit the streets! Both boys had fun, but didn’t last as long as we thought they would. We had fun handing out candy once we got home. I bought wayyy too much candy and the boys got a ton...so we are drowning in candy! Such a fun, festive week!
