Countdown

We have been staying busy making a countdown chain to count down the days until Jimmy gets home and practicing our alphabet with our letters of the day. I thought it would be a fun way to pass the time without daddy by going through the alphabet one letter per day. Today is only "C" which is depressing, but it's been fun so far. Tuesday, we had applesauce for breakfast, wore our alligator shirt, painted an apple tree with apples and made apple/pumpkin muffins!  Yesterday, we have read some books, played with blocks, wore a blue shirt, had a scavenger hunt around the kitchen for b post it notes, and made a bunny mask that didn't go over so well. We shall see if we can keep up the momentum to finish the alphabet - ha!
