Christmas!

We had such a fun, relaxing Christmas!  We had a yummy breakfast and spent the morning opening presents. Charlie Banks opened his favorite present first (Sea Patroller), so he was reluctant to open any other presents. It was actually nice, because it spread out the process for the majority of the morning instead of being over in 10 minutes. We spent the majority of the day playing with all of the new toys, which is just the best!  We had a beautiful walk on Bayshore Boulevard and enjoyed the gorgeous weather. We ended the day with leftovers and all the packing for the boys and I to head to Charleston the following morning. Our first Tampa Christmas is in the books!

Christmas Eve

We had a fun Christmas Eve with our little family. Jimmy worked and then we cooked a delicious dinner. We had steaks, twice baked potatoes, sweet potato casserole, macaroni and cheese, bacon wrapped green beans and rolls. We read our Christmas Eve books and enjoyed some cookies (and even left a few for Santa!). So much fun now that Charlie Banks is really starting to understand!  It was much quieter than Christmas Eves past, but we had a fun night with our little family!

Christmas Fun

The final days leading up to Christmas were filled with popsicle outings, school parties, cardboard gingerbread house making, lighted boat parades and lots of fun!

Another visit with Santa, because no line!

Charlie Banks’ school party was too cute. We love seeing him having fun at school and Haines makes himself at home, too. They sang some Christmas carols and then feasted on yummy food. 

We are getting used to Tampa winters pretty easily!

They are having a lot of fun playing together lately!

The lighted boat parade was so fun, but boy did I have my hands full without Jimmy on the side of a river at bedtime!

 Someone was supposed to be napping, but instead threw everything out of his crib, took his clothes and diaper off and peed in his bed!!!!  Maybe it was all of the candy canes and cookies.
