Blue Marlin!

Jimmy went fishing with friends for the Bohicket Billfish tournament last week and they had quite the catch!  While they were fighting a big blue we went out for a pizza lunch, played outside and someone even had their first bloody nose thanks to his crazy big brother!  Once I saw on Facebook that they had boated a blue I recruited Jimmys mom to head down there with me.  I questioned my sanity several times since it was rush hour traffic + witching hour + nap boycotting day for both boys + lost an engine on the way in making it past bedtime before they even made it to the dock. BUT, it's not everyday daddy has a hand in catching a fish this big AND gets to bring it to the dock for weigh in/pictures!

Hudson & Harper's Birthday Party

We had so much fun celebrating Hudson and Harper's birthdays at Sky Zone this morning!  It had been a few months since we have been so I was excited to see Charlie Banks jump. He has sure been practicing on his mini trampoline at home. They had a blast and I am expecting long naps this afternoon. We enjoyed the pretty weather outside before naps after we got home. Happy Birthday Hudson and Harper!

Alhambra Spring Carnival

We went to the spring carnival at Alhambra the other afternoon.  It was a cute event with face painting, jump house and pony rides. You can see how well that went over!  Ha!

Blessing of the Fleet

I am embarrassed to say that we had never been to Blessing of the Fleet. We decided to go this year since it was our last one as Mount Pleasant residents!  We had a fun time!

Lately

We have been enjoying the spring weather and took our first boat ride of the year.  Jimmy has been fishing and turkey hunting a lot so we have enjoyed lots of fresh tuna and dolphin!  Yes, even me!  Charlie Banks started swim lessons, which is a pretty big commitment. It is 3 days a week, but only for 10 minutes each day. He is doing really well with it so far. Hainesy is really crawling around and is pulling up a lot!  Charlie Banks is starting to like him more now that he is playing a little more so that has been fun to watch!  We had fun trying out the new sno cone place!  Summer is coming fast so we are trying to soak up the days before it gets buggy and super hot!
