Well, it seems life has gotten away from me lately...at least in regards to keeping this little corner of the internet updated. We have been birthday partying, date nighting, enjoying the spring like weather and lots of playing. Here is a picture dump to document our fun. It is so hard to believe that January is pretty much over! And yes, the random picture of our kitchen is Charlie Banks' poop on the floor!

Natty!
We just got back from a quick, whirlwind trip to Tampa for the national championship! And oh my goodness was it fun! We were on the fence about going, but then all of the pieces came together (i.e. Tickets, hotel, childcare) so we headed south! We were lucky enough to have Jimmys mom come with us to watch the kids during the game! We got in Sunday afternoon, got settled, and drove around to take in the sights and get some dinner. Monday we headed to start tailgating around 2 before heading into the game. We had so much fun in the game! And, we WON!!! Momma and daddy were so tired on Tuesday after not making it back to our hotel until 3 am! Tuesday, we had lunch in Hyde Park at a fun place called bartaco! We spent the afternoon walking the river walk before heading to our dinner reservations at Bern's Steakhouse. Quite possibly one of my favorite meals ever...definitely an experience. We toured the kitchen, wine cellar and dessert room after dinner. A fun breakfast at Datz on Wednesday morning before hitting the road and that was a wrap. Too much fun!!! Go Tigers!

T-W-O!
And just like that...our first baby is two! 2! T-w-o! I can't believe it. He is so much fun and only knows one speed. He is full throttle from the moment he wakes up until well past his head hits the pillow! Ha! He loooves avocado, grits, milk, golf cart rides, playing outside, taking showers, jumping on the bed, school, trains, tractors, trucks, cars, his boots, teletubbies, and pushing the limits! He loves Haines and showers him with kisses (in between rough housing him) all day long. We loved celebrating him! He had his favorite breakfast of avocado toast, grits and a smoothie accompanied with lots of balloons! We met my dad and Debbie for brunch at Red Drum to celebrate. That afternoon we grilled out and had fun with friends and family. We ended his special day with a cake made by momma and a tiger victory that has us heading to the national championship this weekend! We continued his special celebration with lunch at our favorite, Vintage, with my sis and fam on Monday. Happy birthday to our first baby!
