Splash Pad

We spent this morning playing at the county park and splash pad with new friends!  It was only our second time making it to the splash pad this summer and I'm so glad we made it back. Public school starts next week here which is so hard for me to grasp that our second summer with Charlie Banks is almost over!

Our Week So Far

We enjoyed a morning at the park on Monday since it "cooled" off a teensy bit!  He looooves to swing and would probably prefer to do that the entire time!  Yesterday we helped some of our friends that are opening an online children's boutique by taking some pictures for their website that launches this week!  It was pretty hot and he was in cold weather clothes for the shoot, so he wasn't the happiest!  You'll have to check them out - Smocked South - on Instagram or Facebook.  It was raining this morning so we went to toddler time at Sky Zone to jump!  He had fun as usual and prefers "running" to "jumping"...but regardless he burns some energy!  We are looking forward to Jimmy getting home in 2 days!!!  It's hard to believe we will add another baby to our family once he gets home. Ahhhh!

Home Bodies

We haven't left the house all weekend, but I am certainly not complaining. Jimmy will be back this week!!!  And he will have us on the go next weekend I know ha!  He gets bored around the house a lot faster than we do. Honestly it's just getting hard to move my body without something hurting so at home we stayed. There was no shortage of play though!  We had fun eating pizza and cupcakes on Friday night with my mom, sister and cousins. We spent yesterday morning playing outside.  We will hit the ground running tomorrow!

Bumpdate and Other Randoms

I had my 34 week appointment this morning...34!!!!  I haven't felt like there was ever too terribly much to do to get ready for our new little babe, but when I realize how close it is getting a slight panic does set in!  We need to set our name in stone so my mom can monogram and I might need to pack a bag and install the infant car seat and make some meals for the freezer and you get my drift!  :)  All is measuring perfectly and seems to be right on track. We are ready for Jimmy to get home for obvious reasons...one of those being it is getting more difficult to carry around about 60 extra pounds (CB + new baby) and my pelvis and back need help!  Ha!  I am getting very excited and can't wait to see how Charlie Banks does with his new big brother role.

And now for the Randoms...

Other than the doctors appointment we have kept busy as usual. My mom is in town (!!) helping my sister since she started back to work this week so we have logged lots of play time over there and most dinners there too. We celebrated my sisters birthday and will continue tonight with pizza and cupcakes!  We have been enjoying the harvest from Jimmys parents farm...watermelon, okra, squash, apples...all so delicious. We went to story time at the library of course!  We also had a fun lunch date where we got to meet our new bestie, Ford. He is so precious!  My sister got me hooked on Bloodline (Netflix) and I finished the second season this week and am not sure how I can possibly wait until 2017 to find out what happens next!  Torture!  It has been keeping me up past my bedtime though so it's probably for the best.

I am excited for a pizza party with cousins tonight and an Olympics filled weekend!
