Lately

We have been busy with another quick trip home, a girls weekend for me, Mother’s day fun, end of school year, all the swimming (skinny dipping), final baby prep, etc!  Jimmy and the boys spent the weekend in Charleston while I had a Jekyll Island girls weekend. We lounged by the pool and enjoyed our kid free time. The boys had end of year performances and parties at school which were sweet and fun. Jimmy got his Fathers Day/birthday present early...a Kamado Joe grill...so we have had fun with that while he’s been off work the past week.  Haines has become a great little swimmer and continues to make progress in speech therapy.  I’m thankful he is floating well and our daily swim lessons are done for now.  We have been installing car seats and trying to finish up all the last minute baby things. It is hard to believe we will meet our new babe in less than 3 weeks!!!  Jimmy headed back to work today and once this 2 week hitch is over it’s pretty much go time!

We are still recovering from our trip home last week/weekend!  It was jam packed with fun and we were operating on little sleep!  We planned to leave on Wednesday, but decided very last minute to hit the road on Tuesday and stop half way. We stopped at the Omni Amelia Island and loved it. We got in around 5 and the boys enjoyed the pool before we had a casual dinner at the resort. We ended the night with a fun walk on the beach. The next morning we enjoyed the amazing breakfast buffet on site and then let the boys swim before finishing the drive home.  Our time home was jam packed with the Kenny Chesney concert, a Come Back Shack meeting, family brunch and dinners, coffee/breakfast with friends, and a super special shower for baby Kingslea.  We didn’t stop and I was exhausted, but it was all fun stuff!
