Peanuts!

Yall!!!  We finally established an allergist for Charlie Banks in Tampa. Several weeks ago we went for our first appointment with her and we were due for blood work. They like to test every year to see if anything has changed. We weren’t expecting any changes as our allergist in Charleston told us not to put any hope in him outgrowing his allergy. We went for the follow-up appointment this week and were down right shocked when she said he appears to have completely outgrown his peanut allergy!  His blood and skin tests were both completely negative. I am still surprised typing this, but what a huge relief and life changing diagnosis!  We celebrated by going to buy all the peanut filled things I could find at Trader Joe’s!  Woohoo!!!

Payton’s Graduation

We celebrated Payton’s high school graduation last weekend!  We are so proud of her as she has had numerous brain tumor surgeries and other setbacks that at times made this achievement seem impossible!  We drove to Charleston for a quick day, then finished the trek to Columbia. Friday was her graduation and Saturday we had a big graduation party!  Sunday we made the trip home to Tampa. We had a great time celebrating her with family!

#onemooredukes

We had the best weekend celebrating Kingslea and Preston’s wedding!  It was beautiful, special, sweet, fun...just truly the perfect wedding weekend spent with family!  We kicked off the celebrations with a welcome party Thursday night at Tavern and Table followed by dinner at Red Drum.  Friday morning the aunts threw a perfect bridal luncheon at The Skinny Dip downtown. We rehearsed then Preston’s parents threw an amazing rehearsal dinner at Goldbug. Saturday we spent the day getting ready enjoying the beautiful battery views!  It was a little touch and go with the boys, but they made it down the aisle and looked precious doing it. The reception at The Carolina Yacht Club was truly stunning!  We partied the night away and then finished the weekend with a delicious brunch party at the Charleston Harbor Fish House!  Whew!  Wedding weekends are always a whirlwind and leave you wanting to relive them over and over again!
