Isla Mujeres

We just returned from spending a week in our favorite place...Isla Mujeres. It was my 4th trip there with another already planned for October. Jimmys parents, sister/boyfriend and us rented an awesome house. It was a tad stressful with the kids and we probably made it worse by trying to do too much with them, but we had a great time. We spent a lot of time on the beach, by our pool and ate our way around the island. We tried several new to us restaurants that we will definitely return to - Limon and Barlitos at the top of the list!  We spent lots of time cruising on the golf cart, visited the turtle farm and drank a lot of coffee!  😴  We broke the trip home up by stopping for a night in Cancun which really helped with the kids. That's where the boys got to go to Hooters and Senor Frogs for the first time. Ha!  To be so close, Isla Mujeres and Cancun certainly feel like different planets!  It was a fun time, but we were oh so happy to get our bitties home.
