Weekending

This weekend was equal parts hot, fun and relaxing!  Friday afternoon we played with friends and rode the golf cart to get pizza for dinner. One of Jimmys best friends from high school, his wife and their cutie pie kid joined us and we loved seeing them as always. I know Jimmy was sad to miss them again!  Saturday morning we packed up early and headed to the beach. We met friends and my sisters crew. It was pretty hot with no breeze, but still fun of course. What's not fun is lugging all of the stuff to and from the beach, 7+ months pregnant, with no help ha!  This morning we went to church and out to lunch with our bestie, Brooke, again. Let's just say things didn't go as smoothly in the nursery as they did last week as you can see below. Not good for a mamas heart, but hopefully he will get better as he starts mothers morning out 2 days a week in about a month.  We are excited that my mom will be in town all week!

Another Week Gone!

Another week has come and gone and it's hard to believe summer is nearing its end.  We played a lot at home and the park, went to story time at the library, ran lots of errands and cooked a lot. Nothing too exciting, but I'm not complaining. He's wide open and you can see his sweaty, crazy hair after playing outside. His first haircut is in our near future!  We have a few fun things planned for the weekend and our two week countdown until Jimmy gets home begins today!

Aquarium

We spent yesterday morning beating the heat at the aquarium. This pregnant mama is anxiously awaiting cooler weather...although I really hate to wish away time.  This was the most interested he has been in the fish, maybe because "fish" (or some variation of the word) is now in his vocabulary so he enjoyed pointing them out.  Love this little cutie so much.

Weekend

Not too much excitement around here this weekend!  Saturday morning we went to see Jimmy's cousin that was in town then met my dad and stepmom for lunch at our favorite, Red Drum. Sunday, I took Charlie Banks to Seacoast Church for the first time. This is where I liked to go before he came along, but I haven't taken him solely because I never wanted to leave him in the nursery. I rarely leave him, but when I have it's only been with family. I was also nervous about leaving his epipen, etc. But, all went well which makes me happy that we can go back!  The only other church we have taken him to (and not enough) is a family service where the children come into the service with you. I don't get nearly as much out of those services!  We ended the weekend with Jimmys mom for Mexican.  A few golf cart rides, cleaning and Netflix for mom and lots of playing and a new week is upon us!
