Beach Bums

We took Charlie Banks to the beach for what might be the last time until next summer.  Hopefully we can squeeze another trip in if the weather cooperates!  He loves splashing in the gulleys!

Cousin Fun

Charlie Banks loves his cousins!  Hudson wanted Charlie Banks out of the wagon once he realized I couldn’t pull him very fast with CB in there, too. It was too funny!

Hand Me Downs

Charlie Banks is lucky to have a well dressed older cousin in Hudson!  He gets the cutest hand me downs!  He looked too cute in this one all dressed up to go to brunch at Red Drum.

Breakfast is the New Dinner Date

It is much easier for us to take Charlie Banks out to breakfast than to dinner!  He goes to bed so early…so for us to go out to dinner means we are eating super early then rushing him home.  Typically at this age it isn’t the most enjoyable experience.  We used to never eat breakfast out, but have been doing so a lot more lately!  It is nice!

However, my mom was in town a few weeks ago and we were able to get out of the house for dinner baby-less.  It felt so weird to be in out in public after dark ha!  The morning wasn’t so fun for daddy! I think we will stick to breakfast from now on!

Football Season

We are enjoying our first football season with Charlie Banks!  He doesn’t know how big of a deal football is to his family yet.  He has big football shoes to fill with his Papa Reedy!  Football weekends look much different than past seasons…with my dad retiring from coaching and Charlie Banks added to the mix…but I must say it’s the best yet!  We are ready to cheer our Tigers to a win over Notre Dame this weekend!

Let’s just say he has his “pitch” down…pitching a fit that is! Ha!

First Farm Trip

We took Charlie Banks to Jimmy’s parents farm for the first time a few weeks ago!  We had a fun time and it was even cool enough that night to build a fire.  He will be spending a lot of time hunting with his dad and grandpa here! 

8 Months

Charlie Banks is 8 months old!  He is now a fast little crawler!  He is enjoying his toys a lot more now that he is sitting up and moving around.  His favorite toy is his big green ball.  He is napping and sleeping like a champ.  Still takes 2 naps…one around 9:45 and the other around 2:15.  Sleeps from 7-7 with one feed around 4 or 5.  He is becoming a great eater and loves most anything he can feed himself.  He loves yo baby yogurt, cheese, black beans, egg yolks, watermelon, pears, toast, puffs…etc.  He doesn’t love brushing his teeth yet! He is so much fun!
