It is hard to believe that Hudson is three years old already! Time has really flown. He is such a cutie with the most fun personality. It has brought such joy to watch him grow up. I know Charlie Banks is going to look up to him so much and I can’t wait to see that (but, I gladly will!). We went over to their house on his birthday to watch him open presents and eat cake. Happy Birthday Hudson!

Mother’s Day
I had a wonderful first Mother’s Day. It really made me so happy to spend the day thinking about how lucky and blessed I am to be this sweet boy’s momma. I was spoiled by getting to sleep in, breakfast in bed, sweet chalkboard notes, a massage to be scheduled, flowers from my sister, a beautiful waterford vase from my mom, and sweet cards. I am so blessed to have a wonderful mom, wonderful examples of mothers in my sisters, a great mother in law and to finally get to be a mom to my own boy. It was a special day!

First Boat Ride
We were really wanting to take our “new” (Jimmy’s parents old boat that Jimmy and his dad just had completely redone) boat out for a cruise this past weekend. The weather was iffy but we decided to chance it! We ended up getting poured on at the end, but luckily I had Charlie Banks’ car seat so I put him in there under a towel and he was fine. The rest of us were drenched though! It was fun to try out the new boat and take him on his first boat ride. He was so good and seemed to enjoy it. He will be spending many days on this boat!

Four Months!
This little cutie pie is 4 months old! He is definitely teething…trying to get his fingers and any/every thing he can get his hands on in his mouth! We have totally transitioned to his crib for naps and night time. I cried the first night, but I have been sleeping in his room since Jimmy has been gone so it hasn’t been too bad. I still can’t bring myself to fold up the rock n play in our room though! He is taking about 4 naps per day…lasting only 30-45 minutes each. We are still really struggling with the nights…its been about a month now. He has been waking up twice (at least)…ugh! He has been much better in his car seat and doesn’t mind it anymore. He loves running errands with me and is such a good baby. He weighs 13 lbs…dropping him into the 25th percentile. He is still in mostly 3 month clothes. He has the sweetest smile that just melts my heart!
My mom is in town this week and Jimmy gets home tomorrow! YAY!
