Isla Mujeres
We had an amazing trip to Isla Mujeres! Other than missing Jimmy (and Brienne and Ken, etc.) it couldn’t have been a better trip. We had great weather, food, and company. Our house was incredible! We had our own private beach and plenty of space. We hope to make the trip an annual event and stay at the same house. I was able to do my fav Isla Mujeres things…enjoying margaritas at the soggy peso, after dinner drinks at faynes, golf cart riding, breakfast at mango’s, dinner at rolandi’s…ahhh heaven. I was also able to do a few new things like zip line and visit this very strange interesting “island” made from plastic bottles…haha! Here are some fun pics from the trip…

Christmas Craziness
Unfortunately, Jimmy will be working this Christmas and NYE so that is definitely putting a little damper on our (my) holidays. But, we were able to go to our supper clubs tacky sweater party before he had to head back for 28 long days! :*(
I’ve attended the first of two cookie exchanges and I have an ornament exchange tomorrow night with my besties.
My mom was in town this past weekend to celebrate Christmas early since everyone has so much going on. We had a nice, short visit and we had so much fun taking Hudson to see the James Island County Park lights and Santa. How stinkin’ sweet is this face?
Kingslea, Jimmy’s sis, graduated from MUSC this past weekend so we celebrated at Red Drum and met Santa again there!
I helped Jimmy’s mom decorate her tree tonight as she is recovering from hip replacement surgery. That was fun since I decided not to do a real tree at our house this year since it will just be me and my lonesome. Sad!
This year, the adults in our family decided to take a trip in lieu of presents. It has really been a great decision so far, because it has really cut down on the stress of having to find presents for everyone. We are heading to Mexico in two days! Although, it won’t be the same without Jimmy since Isla Mujeres is one of our favorite vaca spots.
December is such a fun, busy month! Just missing the hubs especially hard during the holidays!

Thankful
We are thankful for many things this year. We are truly blessed!
We celebrated at Jimmy’s aunt and uncles beautiful new home and ended the day with Brooke, Jeff, and Hudson for meal numero dos. We enjoyed a nice boat ride and loved playing with Hudson. He is SO fun right now!
I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend of football and Christmas decorating.
GO TIGERS!

Nashville
Last weekend, Stephanie and I went to visit Brooke in NASHVILLE! It was so fun to see her and Bryson’s new precious home! Friday night we went to eat at a really good pizza place called Soulshine and hung out at one of the “local” bars called Losers.
Saturday, we went to a REALLY good burger place called The Pharmacy. They have a beer garden and also make homemade cream sodas. YUM! Then we spent the rest of the day downtown. It was so funny that Elise Testone was singing at one of the bars we ended up at…Charleston following us to Nashville!
We will be heading back to Nashville in a few months for Jordan’s Bachelorette Party…but tonight we will be celebrating her and Nathan’s engagement!
ALSO, my dads team finished the regular season last night UNDEFEATED with a 37 game win streak! Bring on the playoffs!

What We’ve Been Up To…
Not much…which has been a really nice change of pace. The past two times Jimmy has been off of work we have had our wedding and the following time our honeymoon. So, this most recent time we didn’t do much. We did have some friends from NOLA come to visit and we went to the Zac Brown Band concert and spent some time at Jimmy’s parents farm.
My dads team is still undefeated in football! WOOHOO! We have two more regular season games so we hope that continues.
In other exciting news, my friend Stephanie and I are going to Nashville this coming weekend to visit our bestie, Brooke, that moved there a little over a month ago.
In other REALLY exciting news, my sister, Brooke, and her hubbie, Jeff, are expecting another baby. Hudson will be a big brother!
I’m enjoying a relaxing day of football with dinner (beef stroganoff) in the crockpot! Hopefully I will be back with more exciting news sooner than later!

Honeymoon
Well, it is officially FALL! I celebrated last night by drinking a pumpkin beer and making chili tortellini…a pinterest recipe. It was delish! I’ve had our house decorated for halloween since last weekend…ha!
We ended our summer on a high with our honeymoon trip to Greece. It was AMAZING and I highly suggest everyone adding it to their bucket list.
We started out in Athens for two nights. We took a tour of the Acropolis Museum and the actual Acropolis, as well as the first Olympic stadium. We walked, walked, and walked some more all around the city. Our hotel had a rooftop bar that had a perfect view of the Acropolis where we enjoyed drinks in the afternoon and breakfast each morning.
We then flew to the island of Mykonos. We rented a four wheeler for two days to explore all of the different beaches on the island which was really fun! We loved the downtown, and Jimmy’s favorite beach was Paradise…the party beach! The DJ would start around 4:30 each afternoon, and needless to say it was definitely something to see.
Next, we took a ferry to Santorini. Our favorite stop of the trip! We rented a four wheeler here as well for two of the days, visited a lot of wineries, got fish pedis, massages on the beach, took a catamaran tour, and relaxed!
It was perfection! Posting this makes me REALLY want to be back there RIGHT NOW! And, after being back for two weeks I think I finally might want to eat feta cheese again! I was feta-ed out…which I never thought would happen. But boy was it good!
Jimmy had to go back to work the day after we got back…bummer! I have enjoyed two relaxing weekends of football and attempting to tackle some long overdue house projects.
Football season has started off perfectly…my dad’s team is 4-0 and Clemson is undefeated as well. Fingers crossed this weekend will turn out the same…
