We were scheduled for an induction on June 17, but I was certain she was going to come early! Brooke and kids came in on the 12th and we had a fun few days of baby watch. My mom came on the 15th and there was no news until our scheduled induction day. I am happy to report that Kingslea’s birth was uneventful and “normal”. Hallelujah! We were scheduled to arrive first thing in the morning, but there were no beds available. There was finally an available bed at 12:30. They started the pitocin, epidural, broke my water, and she arrived quickly at 5:13 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 20 in long. She has been a great nurser and pretty easy going...unless it’s night time! Ha! She is precious in every way and the boys are showering her with kisses every chance they can. They have nick named her “cutie pie” and “pretty girlie”. This has been the easiest recovery/transition (so far) compared to the first 2...and for that I am very thankful! Jimmy is back to work and I am looking forward to finding our new normal. She has been shopping with me several times, out to eat, to church, etc. We love her so much and can’t believe she is already 2 weeks old!

Lately
We have been busy with another quick trip home, a girls weekend for me, Mother’s day fun, end of school year, all the swimming (skinny dipping), final baby prep, etc! Jimmy and the boys spent the weekend in Charleston while I had a Jekyll Island girls weekend. We lounged by the pool and enjoyed our kid free time. The boys had end of year performances and parties at school which were sweet and fun. Jimmy got his Fathers Day/birthday present early...a Kamado Joe grill...so we have had fun with that while he’s been off work the past week. Haines has become a great little swimmer and continues to make progress in speech therapy. I’m thankful he is floating well and our daily swim lessons are done for now. We have been installing car seats and trying to finish up all the last minute baby things. It is hard to believe we will meet our new babe in less than 3 weeks!!! Jimmy headed back to work today and once this 2 week hitch is over it’s pretty much go time!
